Well if you can skate it's easy... I learned skiing 2 years ago and i hadn't skated in months and I was still fine. As long as you have balance and stuff it shouldn't be too hard.

if ur afraid i bet anywere u go that has a mountain and snow WILL have a instructor u could use for a day
its kinda safety standards id think

snowboarding is fun. and in my opinion its easier (feet stay together, no stupid poles and whatnot) but i skate so balance might be hard for beginners idk. you should try it. havent been skiing in forever though.

Well here's a tip - I've heard that after skiing, snowboarding is harder. So if you ever plan on snowboarding, now might be the time to start :P

True. My dad used to ski (we went annually) and he tried to learn to snowboard. He snapped his ankle in two.

luke come over to NZ, skiing here is great, and supposed to be cheapest in the world. Skiing takes a little practice, I prefer snowboarding, its much more epic.
