aluminum psp faceplate?

I know this is a stretch, but does anyone know where I could buy a psp 1000 brushed black aluminum faceplate? I wanted my psp to match my computer case, but if I can't buy one I guess I could try making one out of a piece of extra computer case.

1. You can't buy one. You can buy chrome colored, if that would work.
2. Have you taken apart a psp before??? It would be half impossible to make your own faceplate.

well if I could get my hands on a 3d printer with a drill bit, a block of aluminum, and the schematics for the faceplate, then it would be possible, time to do some searchin.

There are places out there where you can rent the use of one inside there facilities. I know there is one here where I live, but that is the weapon development building metal shop >.> so I don't think they take civilians. XD There are places for fabrication that charge you per hour. So if your wallet can handle it, go for it. I'd love to see the finished product.

well sony isn't the only company making faceplates.

Well you could mold one but it would be ADVANCED molding it would require more then 1 mold in 1 step. But then would need also need some molten aluminum.

well first of all as u guys were saying it is very very difficult to create the actual faceplate. but think about it...aluminum is a conductor...so if u wanna take the risk of spending alot of money to  ur psp up be my guest :P
