well it possibly could because there are some diffrences in the firmware such as the umd im sure there not gonna leave that feature in there.

Well the browser on the others can be improved via custom firmware... Theres an app which lets you use the entire RAM

I THINK if it would have a better browser sony would use it as a marketing point. So I believe it does not have a better browser.
