lit triggers/ shoulder buttons and start n back

hi there i've got led mod's down pretty well now but cant do triggers shoulder button or start n back
if any1 can give me any pointer on these maybe makin moulds and making my own transparent buttons, or evan a suplier of transpartent button maybe??? anything would be good

and i've found som good placement for shulder leds but still no transparent triggers.

still if any1 has tips of makin molds for new trigger/buttons it wouls be nice if not time for more googling and experementing with different plastic and leds. what i want to achieve is somthin similar to the xcm lit pads but custom made.

Where did you get the start and back buttons pleaseeee

hi ben yeah i made the start and back just with standard button a 3mm drill and some blue smd led's. and the same in the ABXY just white smd led's slid up the middle of the legs. not to happy with th ABXY compared to when i use 5mm or 3mm white led's  but the start and back are great. not so bright when the pads not on charge but they look like they only light up the <| |>triangles in the buttons.. im goint to try the start and back again with white and red smd leds to see what they look like. pics coming soon

Ahh right - I used 1 white smd under my ABXY and it wasnt too good - how many did you use?

And do you have a link to the start + back buttons you found, pleasee...

hi mate yeah i only used 1 smd in the ABXY but yeah the effect is not to good when the pad isnt on charge.
the start and back in this pad i also made with smd's
but lamma can suply some
not sure if they ever actually started selling them

King_Mike I think it was used 2 white smd's and his looked alright, so I mayy try that.

i use 2 White SMD and looks good with out the charge kit    i think i like how my turn out.   i do have pic turning them on /off and there are 5 diff modes i will post video this week.   i think it was request by spurgurgle.   





will have the same SMD LED  i use in store soon

Where do you get them - unique leds?

hi king mike yeah i did request that vid, well i would also like the code for a chip so i can make my leds flash and stuff
but i understand if you dont want to release it on opensource
i will still be interested inpurchasing a already coded chip to make  the leds work on button flash and chase like you have mentioned b4 in another post
any help would be appriecated

but heres the blue and white.



agian its only 1 led in each and pad is runing on 2xAA battery's
Post Merge: September 05, 2009, 05:29:42 AMalso it is rather tricky to drill the right amount out of the start and backs i have now drill 7 of them and only got 4 that im happy with 2 i went straight through the other side and 1 of the was th red which stoped lighting up after i glue the led in place
