so i got a new lappy (will be posting a news report of my time with dell, a warning if you will) that has vista on it, but it will upgrade to 7 for free.  the problem is that i dont know what programs will let me get the songs and :censored: off of my iPhone for itunes.  anyone wanna help?

ok then i must be retarded because i was looking on google for like 2 hours and came up with nothing.

and btw those programs dont work.

SSH into your iphone and go to /private/var/mobile/Library/ and I think it's the music folder or something, but just go into there and it's setup the same as other iPods (Lots of renamed subfolders and music files).

Just copy them over wirelessly.

i cant jailbreak it for some reason... no matter what i did it failed.  i need a free program like sharepod, but sharepod doesnt work...

You're pretty much SOL without being jailbroken, I think.
There's no disk mode which is what programs use to access the songs to retrieve.
The only way I know to bypass that is being jailbroken.

sharepod works on my xp... do you know of any way to transfer the songs from my old desktop (no burner or i would have done that) to my new vista lappy?

i tried but for some reason i couldn't

and dude... sorry i am slow when it comes to iTunes. If they wont let you use an ipod to transfer music, how was i supposed to know what else they would let me do.

its pretty fast on mine i transfered a load of apps between mine and my sisters the other day and it was pretty quick. atleast faster than burning a cd or putting them on a drive etc etc
