What types of 360's are out there?

I know of atleast three. The original, the one that is the Elite (I have this one.) and I have herd of a "jasper" console. If someone could list the consoles and their improvements from the first to the current and maybe what they are planning on doing next.

Xenon, Xephyr, Opus, Falcon, Jasper. those are all the models, in chronological order
Xenon-The original, worst model due to lack of HDMI and common Rrod
Xephyr-First model With HDMI support, improved reliability added heatsink
Opus-Unknown besides new heatsink + the added one
Falcon-MUCH less chance of Rrod, has both new heatsinks
Jasper-Has the least possibility of Rrod according to Microsoft, has newer DVD drive, and 256MB of onboard memory

Opus is only when you sent a Xenon into MS for repair.

Also the Jasper has both 65nm GPU/CPU chips.

aslo my jasper failed after three weeks lol.. there is a new revision on the way called Valhalla..this unit will combine the cpu and gpu in one 45nm chip

That must be the 250gb coming in October.... I'll hold off on modding and pick me up one of those babies D:

That's still pretty damn good.

I think it'll have the new one, though.

Think about it. LE 360 (generally more money than others), headset, 2 controllers, 250gb hdd, and the game.
Game = $60
Controllers (generally) = $50(x2)
Headset = $10-20
Hdd = $150+

That leaves the console to be only $70, and it's limited edition.
That's extremely cheap for a 360 Elite.
Sell the case for $100 on eBay, and you've got yourself a free console with a Jasper or better motherboard and you even make $30 off it.

I'm definitely getting this as the one I'll be modding. Oh man.

I just ordered one on the gamestop website, Im gonna need $450 in my checkings by the day it ships. Im glad I have a job.
