What Type of Tilt Switch/Sensor?
« on: September 18, 2009, 04:47:14 PM »
I am going to do a tilt switch/sensor mod, and I was wondering what type of switch/sensor to use (eg, mercury tilt switch). Sorry if there is already a post or tutorial on how to install them, I can't find it! A link would be helpful...

you can always make your own and then just solder them to the correct points

^you can use a dime instead of a nickel to get smaller results

I was looking for something a little more compact, something that could fit inside the ds... Like a mercury tilt switch. But, the problem is that whenever I search for one on ebay, all I find is vehicle security mercury tilt switches (they're as big as a ds)

P.S.
Hey, do you have an Instructables account? I'm Shadow Ops (on Instructables)!
