soulshudder mod

(1/3) > >>

Modded Matt:
a few moths ago, acidmods got a request from a disabled gamer who had controller usage problems. due to this disability he had to hold the controller in an odd manner which made it hard to use. this is where acidmods comes in. he gave us a photoshop pic of what his ideal controller would look like. myself and treemty made this a reality. it has been along time in the making, but finally completed and ready to ship.

here are just a few of the pics of this mod and a short video showing complete functinality.

thats a great job guys.
i read the thread wwere the guy was asking about this,
didnt he also ask for 2 extra buttons to act as anolog stick clicks???
as he had trouble clicking the sticks down????
but still awsome job guys bet he'll be happy now he can play properly.

wow matt awesome work there.  your technique on the buttons relocation is win for sure. what a great project, people will be using this for a modding reference for a long time to come

Modded Matt:
yea, I made the buttons as a stand alone assembly with inverted tact switches mounted in them. they press against the piece of bread board activating the button.  as this assembly is self contained and mounted to the top of the shell, I wanted to put a disconet plug, but I could not find one locally, so I perminatly conected the top to the mobo, with solder joints, and safed them with heat shrink tubing.

the best thign that pleased me was the plaement of the anolog stick. it is perfect placement and height, I had to sand the bottom of the stick assembly to lower it so that the right stick is not higher than the left. I did this mod for soulshudder, but am considering another one for personal use. LOL
