Ingredients
¾ lb lentils
1 Onion
1 tsp mustard seed
1 tsp sugar
½ tsp turmeric
2 green chillies
3 cloves garlic
Juice ½ lemon

Method
Cook lentils with turmeric, chillies till mushed
Fry onions till tender and soft with garlic – add
Add sugar, lemon juice adjust seasoning cook for 20 mins till flavours marry – fry mustard seeds in a little oil careful they will pop and splutter – add to curry and serve.
