PSP Slim defect
« on: October 14, 2009, 01:09:51 PM »
Hey guys
I have a big problem: I played MotorStorm when the PSPs Screen turned off very slowly, like turning off the xbox360.
Now when I turn on the PSP, the green light is on, but nothing happens, when a UMD is inserted it makes a loading sound, then the sound starts new..and so on, but nothing happens :sadno:
hm now i dont know what to do :cry2:
I could pay 100€ to get a new PSP, but I dont want to that.

maybe someone can give me advise whats wrong with my psp,
Or if someone can repair my psp..PLEASE..help me :beg:

excuse me if I made a mistake, Im new to acidmods

i just opened the faceplate, and then tried to boot:
IT WORKED!!
so i decided to put it back on and again, still same problem,
ok then removed the faceplate again
..but still the same problem
..hm i it nearly sounds like the psp is trying to reboot all the time.
what hardware problem could cause that..maybe a short circuit somewhere?
and while the faceplate was removed, it had enough place not to touch, and so it could boot?..hm would it be a possible explanation?

what will happen if i´ll power on the psp not in its case, and without having the umd drive an wifi antenna connected, and the analog stick and the speakers? will something get defect or can i just try it with no risk?

does really no one know what to do_? :beg:
