also the 2000 and 3000 don't even have infrared, it was put in the 1000 and was originally used for sending pictures, they have replaced it with wireless in an update, so the 1000 still has it and can only be used with home-brew and custom firmware. 
So there is no way it could possibly work with the 2000, or 3000

but with the psp go having built in bluetooth, it might be possible to connect a bluetooth keyboard to it
