ok, here is what I need
« on: October 12, 2009, 11:02:07 AM »
I was recently approached by a friend of mine who needs a modded controller, what he requires is kinda like rapid fire but on the A button, it would sorta if someone was constantly tapping it. Is the open source code out there capable of this, it is also preferable that the code has a single mode and off and must be sleeper. Also it cannot be activated by the pressing the A button, so as soon as the mod is turned on A must be being tapped without pressing any buttons.

So can anyone help me out with my options, the only codes I have used are hazers burnmeup2 and gameplayrf.

I think the burn me up on a button, may be what your looking for, it would need to be conditioned though, the sleeper part is the hardest. I will think about this more when I get home.

you could possibly use hazers open source and edit it to the speed, delete the modes that you dont need.  Then solder the chip right on to the a buttons wiring. that could work i belive

i know how you can do this, i've done rf B for this gears pad
https://acidmods.com/forum/index.php?topic=33014.0
so it turns on as soon as you push the sycn button just take out the extra tactile for the rf A/B function this should work

re: i explain how to do it better here
https://acidmods.com/forum/index.php?topic=32611.0

again just leave out the extra tactiles so that it activates the rapid tap as soon as the mod is turned on.

Burnmeup on a CG controller would work. Just wire the left trigger to the A instead, and change the output to low for the sleeper version. Currently the interupt routine only turn on the left trigger in mode 1, so how you want this to work depends on how many speeds you want (off being a mode itself too).

Don't be jealous your not half as smart. I hate ****tards like you. An ignorant redneck. Your nothing but a posing ******. Get the **** out of here, really, your claim to fame is an open source rapid fire code? You make me laugh. You think you have control over the modding market?  You couldn't create what I can and do. You are too ignorant with your outrageous assumptions and accusations. [/Quote]

thanks, I am surprised with how much help I received. All I need is one mode going as slow as about 2Hz and off. So if this controller turns out to be matrix there is no chance? It is vital that it is constantly on when mode one is active and acts as a normal A when set to mode off.

yeah mate this is only 1 speed, where im using the 4mode code but only the LEFT trigger outputs it cant change mode it just turns on and off wen i push the sync button, but with mine wen its on i use a tactile on the back to activate it. as i use it for gears chainsaw i dont want it on and activeated all the time, so this is y i have a tactile in line to the contact on B.

may i ask y do you want A activated all the time???

hehe, its not for me, but from what I understand having lots of custom games makes you look pro? anyway this guy is pro being the 2nd or 1st best in the country.

anyway spurgurgle, do you still have a copy of that code you could send me? or you wanting me to edit it myself?

yeah i've still got a copy of it, but it's only hazer gameplayrf code with all the speed set to 10sps, you may want this slower depending on wot your using it for. and dont forget use the left trigger output for ur rf A

also ghost i noticed under your tag it say use gimp, i recently downloaded this but am having a bit of trouble hopefully i'll get my head round it!

well its hazer's 4mode code (gameplayrf) so it has 4 speeds, i set all of them to 10sps just incase it feels like changing mode without telling me and to be on the safe side,
as i only needed 1 speed set to 10sps so i thought i might aswell set them all to that.
