Well he really didn't have a choice of where to put it. Anywhere else and it would look downright ugly. Where he put it is a pretty discreet spot, that's not the first spot you look at when you see the controller. It doesn't stick out a whole lot.
that wiring blows my mind. Dope .

the huge switch was a bad ideaalso whats this?shoulda use 30 awg also
Hey alman,I got a question about the LEDs you installed. So far I modified couple controllers without problems but now on a new project I tried installing purple LEDs and they require 3.3V. All the power spots I found so far have only 3V and that just doesn't make it glow strong enough. Do you know where should I tap in with the LEDs?I noticed you used resistors here and there. Was it to lower the 3V for the LEDs you used? ... I do recall that you mentioned on one of the vids that you had to find where to install even stronger then this LEDs.I have purple LEDs (3.3V, 30mA, 80mW, 300mcd)... maybe the 30mA is causing the issue since most users used 20mA?Did a lot of research but cant find a solution.Ill post pics of my MODs after I finish them all.
