Its very possible just takes some programming and hard work and ATM its just a complete waste..
Cyber and R&D worked on this for ages lol
I know there are already a lot of topics on this, so I don't think it's worth starting a new one.
Is there a link somewhere to their work on this? How far have they got?
I saw this on sparkfun
http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=8448and was wondering if anyone has tried using it.
I was thinking it would be pointless to use it to "touch" items on a screen to click them.
But what if, instead a PIC or AVR was used and connected to the nub. Have the uC translate strokes as movement on the screen as movement on the nub, and maybe have it translate brief taps into pressing a button. This could be done, and wouldn't involve changing the firmware or writing any programs.
$25 screen and a $5 PIC...it wouldn't even be that expensive of a mod...even if it is pointless...
