PSP Slim LED Mod with No Resistors or LM386
« on: November 10, 2009, 07:13:42 PM »
I want to do the LED mod on my Slim, but I want to do it without using resistors and without making the LED's sound-reactive. I have some blue 0805 LED's. Are there any 3.6 volt positive points on the Slim mobo, such as at a switch like the wifi or hold switch? Would blue 0805 LED's work with 3.6 volts? I want to do the LED's direct contact; not soldering to the speakers, but soldering to a positive point, such as the wifi or hold switch, and to a negative point on the mobo. Has anyone done this before? Are there any diagrams of how to do this?  Would there be a risk of frying the mobo? Thanks.
