Anyone ever analyze the SATA lines?
« on: November 11, 2009, 02:15:34 PM »
Has anyone ever analyzed the SATA cable while the 360 reads a game?
Or, if not, do you guys think something like an Arduino could be used?

Like, connect the SATA line to the Arduino and have all incoming data logged so it can be read later.

i believe RDC from XbS has done something similar to this, monitoring voltages and data transfer on the DVD drive. I remember seeing some article over there with a TON of DVD drive operation info, i just wish i knew where that was...

Hey, I heard from someone that you had a ton of information about the DVD drives and what's sent over the SATA lines.
Do you still have this information?

Thanks,
Chris
No idea where you heard that from but I don't, sorry.
