I'd go for OCZ for speed and probably Intel (i think they are cheaper)

honestly i think a SSD for your laptop is waste, its wayyy to much money to spend on something for a moderate speed laptop.

I'm getting a 128gb 1.8" self encrypting SSD from my friend.

If you're gonna get a SSD, get it just to resell it. They're expensive.

what do you like to do? maybe we can help you pick out a device. For example I like to watch movies a lot and since I go on long times often I wanted a gadget that I could store my movies and watch them on the go. I go the archos 5 android tablet.

Tell what you like so we can get some ideas

Go on amazon or somewhere and find yourself an original 60GB PS3 with backwards compatibility and buy it. You get to play PS3 games, PS2 games, PS1 games, watch dvds, bluray, browse the internet, and at the end of the day you'll be happy you didn't waste time on another xbox.

Really? I've had over 7 360s at a time and I never get tired of having them, whereas I've used 1 ps3 and got tired of it in minutes.

the fanboys dont need to get started. all ill say is that i own both a PS3 (60gb release day) and 3 (not including banned one) xbox 360s. I use my PS3 all the time for Blu-Ray movies on my 58" Samsung LED TV with 7.1 Dolby Digital. And i couldnt be happier, the PS3 is a great media centere. The 360 on the other hand is good for streaming HD movies from my PC to my TV, while another xbox is in my room that I use for gaming. The PSN just is not up to specs for most games, as well as I get randomly disconnected from it every 2-3 hours for about 5 minutes.. While Xbox LIVE on the other hand has never given me any issues.(besides banning me, those bastards). Basically PS3 is good for HD Media, while the 360 is better for gaming. (In my Opinion)

And get a bigger HD. SSD's are a waste on Laptops, but i got a pretty good deal on a 500GB 7200 RPM HD off of newegg.

dont get me started on ps3. i have the 80GB mettle gear solid one and im tempted to put it in storage. i wish i could sell it and get more 360's

tv, mw2 edition xbox, games, ps3, surround sound, car upgrades, rustler vxl, the new traxxas e- revo platuim. if its 600 buck is limit. u have a plethora of stuff u can buy
