« on: November 18, 2009, 11:33:19 AM »
hi i have a psp 1000 with a removed UMD drive and i was wondering if you could put another battery in there but have it connect externally to the 5v input?

You could try wiring in another battery and have them switchable...
If this helps.
Not sure if you could add to the current battery pack it might fry either the motherboard of the PSP or the Battery's motherboard.

Found this just looking around, they do many battery mods just using the original battery's motherboard and some like cell phone
