my lcd start going whitish...

i still can see the display of my lcd but its in white...

i don't have now the normal colors i used to have...

can this be repaired?

i've had that before... it is a result caused by the LCD screen ribbon cable not being plugged IN FAR enough.

i used pliers to grip the black part of the ribbon cable and GENTLY push the cable in the door farther..

yes that is because you aren't pushing the other LCD screen in far enough... it must be that when you are putting in that LCD, you are getting distracted by wondering if it will work, and you aren't putting it in far enough....
