bumper lighting
IntroductionIn this section i will be showing you a simple way to ad bumper lights
to your transparent bumpers.
Parts Needed- 2x0603 leds
- some 30awg wire
- a resistor if required for your leds
Tools Needed- Solder iron
- wire cutters
- tweezers
Difficulty rating: 3/5
Average Time to Complete: i.e 10-20mins
Notes:be carefull soldering the 0603 leds as to much heat can damage them.
Step By Step Tutorial1- solder your 0603 to the - contacts on the bumper buttons... the pad im using is a cg but this may be different for matrix so check it before hand

2- now bridge the 2 + contacts on your leds with a legth of wire

3- now run a wire from the right leds + contact to either the + contact on the breadboard installed during the dome lighting tutorial or to the + contact shown inthe picture below.

test and close up.
FAQ/ Troubleshooting- if the led is not lighting up check the contact on the bumper button is - and check the polarity of the 0603 led. also check for short circuits
