I hope you'd want smooth fading instead of the 360s crappy fading at least Hahaha.
But seriously, take a look at the 360 when it turns on and fades. You can see it jump in brightness values. That's terrible.

Sort of. I'm working on my own custom chip at the moment with a few features. I'm thinking of porting just the bootup sequence onto a small 8pin attiny so people can install it for a different bootup sequence.
