LED Swap and Sound Fuse Question
« on: December 05, 2009, 07:31:13 PM »
I blew my sound fuse doing an LED swap for the wifi LED with a blue 0805 LED. The LED lit up when I put the battery in, even when the PSP was turned off. When I turned the PSP on, the sound did not work. I bridged the sound fuse, so the sound works. What would happen if the same thing were to occur, but the sound fuse was already bridged? Would it fry the motherboard? Would the sound stop working? I want to do the LED swap with a blue 0603 LED, but I am afraid of doing it.

I am not really a PSP guy but I read somewhere where I think moddedmatt said something about unbridging the fuse before doing anymore swaps or mods.  IDK exactly where or what it was but you should pm him about that.  (if it was him who said that)
