chrome>firefox
« on: December 26, 2009, 12:49:11 PM »
ok so lately i have been experiencing crash after crash after crash with firefox 3.5.6, but i am running vista so i assumed i had a case of the gremlins.  i did some research and found out that, no it is not vista (though that cant be helping it much...), it is firefox itself.  as soon as i found this out i downloaded chrome and havent crashed a single time.

what are your experiences with the latest firefox??

i had chrome but then all of a sudden it had a lot of problems

it took a long time (3-5s) to get responses from servers when you initiated the connection to the website.

im on FireFox 3.6b5 now and it is loooovely

I recently tried Chrome and it worked really well, but then started crashing constantly so I switched back to Firefox.   I do have the occasional crash, especially when I have a lot of flash vids open, but I will try the new chrome and do some tests and report back.
Just for the record, I am assuming that we are all in agreement that All Browsers > IE...  :)

was running chrome on this pc, but it was really glitchy, so I switched to Opera and haven't had any problems. Firefox on linux also works fine for me.

I use Chrome and get the same problem, it won't load most pages first time and come up with a error message, however if i just refresh its fine :/

ive been using chrome ever since i got my laptop back in Sept.

the only reason is because ive been going for a quicker/more stylish theme on my laptop, and firefox just seems pretty bulky lately. especially on my laptop.

never had any problems with either, so im not one sided on this, im just in it for the style and layout of chrome.

oh and to answer your question, i havent had any problems with the new firefox (on my moms laptop and friends desktop).
