« on: January 25, 2010, 01:19:33 PM »
I have a few games that I down loaded from the PSN store to my mem card on my 2000, if I take it out and put it in the PSP go will it work?

fact:
your memory card wont fit in the go, the Go uses a memory stick micro, where as the older units used a pro duo.

heresay:
I have not confirmed this, ( I have a GO but only like 2 hrs on it) Sony states that all umd games or previous downloaded games can be transfered to the GO using the PSP go media program that comes with the go. (I dont think I even installed this software)

hope that helps. as the GO is very new, there is not alot of info for it. I try to only state facts that I know, or atleast warn you that what I have stated is hearsay.

Did they change from a pro memory stick duo? Can then transfer the games to the GO with a PC? UMD games? does this mean you can copy the umd's or just the saved game data?

I know there is an adapter to make the go's memory card into a pro duo.   I don't believe that it will work as you have to register your psp 2000 with the media go software.   but after that it might.  I know if you get another memory card for the psp 2000 and transfer it there from the media go it will work and you wouldn't have to remove it from the go either.

I picked up the Go last night, to get your games back you have log back into your PSN network and find your download history and you can just down load again. I think you can have up to five PSP's on the Media go.

I returned it, it was a cool idea but uncomfortable to play.
