Introducing the Samsung Galaxy Note 4!

Note 4 Images:

Upon the initial release of the Galaxy Note 3, rumors went floating around that the Note 3 was to be the last of the Note series in terms of phone models. And with no Official statement from Samsung regarding the rumor, most of us just assumed this to be true!

Well no longer! It started with the release of the Galaxy S5, images of what was said to be the Galaxy S5 surfaced but were in fact leaked images of an in development model of the successor of the Note 3. These were spread around the internet and made to seem like fakes, until early last month when Samsung made a statement about the next upcoming handset model of the Note series!

The specs for the device (What we have been told as of to date):

- 5.7" QHD OLED screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 for a true 2K display.
- 4GB DDR3 20nm RAM
- Samsung Exynos True OctaCore 64 Bit Processor
- Starting at 128GB internal storage with max 128GB MicroSD variant card slot (variant not released as of yet)
- LTEv2 with CAT 5 Downloads, CAT 4 & 5 Uploads
- Dual antenna WiFi with ability to run side by side with Mobile Data for faster downloads
- Bluetooth 4.0
- 3800 mAh 3.7v Li-Ion Battery
- Fully waterproof to 50M
- 5MP front facing camera
- 21MP ISOCELL rear facing camera
+ Featuring Aqua Capture for underwater image capture
    + OIS (Optical Image Stabilization)
- Will be released with Android 4.4 (KitKat) and will be up-gradable to Android 4.5 (Lollipop)
- Iris Scanner and integrated fingerprint scanner/home button

Samsung has stated that the Galaxy Note 4 release date will be sometime before 2015. Not very satisfactory of an answer but i guess it will have to do. (jk)

I will make another post when Samsung releases the product this year with all the goodies we want to see!

As I've said already, it's upgrade time but I don't like the back of the Note 3  so I'm holding out for the Note 4. Really hoping the waterproof holds true, I've seen a few videos of the Galaxy S5 in the ocean and pools and it holds up nicely. For now my Note 2 kicks butt  :)

I have the iPhone 5 right now and am looking to go over to android sometime soon.  Can anybody tell me how big of a difference it is other than the apps changing?  I have an old LG Ally that is pretty old and slow but I know the technology has changed a lot since then.
