switching mobo

if i change the mobo of my slim with another mobo will i get the issue like the phats?

like having no sounds...

nothing should happen. if u wanna be very safe. just make sure its the same version. i switched like 2times in the past 5 years? nothing has yet to happen

I frankensteined a Slim together just the other day.

One thing to watch out for is making certain that your Power board and Speakers are good.  Because you can blow fuses with bad components on a board swap.

I had a Madden Model that had the TA-088v3 in it that I swapped to a TA-085.  It proceeded to blow the sound fuse on initial bootup.

Other than that you really shouldn't have any issues.
