Klipsch led mod
« on: February 06, 2010, 09:51:10 PM »
So I have had my promedia's for about 2 months now and love em. The stock speakers had a green led that was illuminated when the system was on, well im a blue man :) so of course I wanted blue leds.
This mod was simple yet frustrating since I coulnt figure out how to get the control pod off at first and it is also a tight space to work in with small contacts, but I got it done. So behold! lol

They look good, only problem is they are crazy bright! head ache lol

Also in the background you can see my skullcandys resting on my homeade headphone holder :P

It stays on all the time, just like the stock led does. I thought about making it blink but that would be freaken annoying lol. It would be cool if I put the led on the back so it shone on the wall. How did you make it blink to the sound? Just wire it to the speaker or what?
