My psp worklog...
« on: February 13, 2010, 11:41:53 AM »
This is my first attempt at doing more than just leds in the triggers(even though that is all I have done so far).  I am going to do a full themed mod for Assassins Creed and hope to complete all of the following:

- fading red leds in the shoulders (done)
- internal mic (done)

-clear black buttons w/fading red leds
-secondary sound reactive white leds in the buttons and triggers
-umd door jewel w/assasins creed jewel from shattered mods(also with fading red leds and secondary SR white leds)
-dual nubs
-possibly a paint job

I'm sure this will take me a while to finish, as I am pretty poor atm, but here is a video of what I have so far.

Great Job   :#1:. It would be cool if you could make the LEDs fade between red, green and blue though. Also what color are you planning to paint it.

Did you use a pulse vu for the fading effect?

I have a really crazy paint job in mind, I cant really give away any details right now, but I think it will fit quite nicely with the assassins theme.

No, I used t0pP8uZz's 12f683 hex. He says he has a new hex coming out soon that is customizable. Here is a link to the thread.

Sick. Now I don't have to waste $20 on a pulse vu.

And where did you solder to for the constant power supply?

I used the power source from L0rdnic0's sound reactive tutorial.  If you don't put this on a switch the leds will fade even when the system is off.
