rj45 to rj11?
« on: February 15, 2010, 10:54:14 PM »
I dont think this is possible, but i figured i would ask anyway lol.  i want to play my dreamcast online (yes there are still a few games that work)  but i do not have the broadband adapter. i would like to know if there is any work around for this using the 56k modem built into the system... i doubt it but still... anyway i have my router sitting next to my dreamcast so having cables running all over hell is not an issue at all.  the issue is getting something that will plug into the rj11 jack XD  anyone have any idea what i can do? i googled it but not much came up...

maybe if i put some sort of limiter... yes you are right the dreamcast does not have the kind of card for those speeds, and i dont want to pay the 300 bucks for the broadband adapter.
