This is a quick guide in fixing your headphones..
Alot of times mostly 4 out of 5 times the issue with headphone is one side of the headphone went dead
when this happens alot of people assue its the magent on the speakers that dead
the real reason is cause by the wiring
That has the fallow issue:
1.fraid wire
2.magical evil pixie living inside
3.knots/kinks in the line
4. your deaf in one ear
5. brokes/breaks
When this happens there really nothing you can do about it.....Well there is .... but its tends to suck or lead to difficulties
what else can you do?
TOSS THEM AWAY!
NOOO!
best bet is to fallow this instruction
(Now with finishing vid at the end)
The first thing to do is to go to your local dollor store/blow out store and buy cheap pair of headphone...
They shouldnt cost any higher then $5 U.S.
next is to take them apart ((Basicly do same as in the tutorial))
I will start this tutorial with this noise cancelling headphone by Phillip
Dissasembly of cheap headphone\all you really need is the wireing..carefully dissamble the headphone and thow away everything but the wiring
Dissasembly of headphoneDesoldering broken wire from headphoneSIDE NOTEIts option to keep this part...But it usually is manitory to keep it ...alot of times its usually attached to the wire itself and the ends will have to be trimed so you can slip the new wiring through it ...
SIDE NOTE: Broken wireingFew times if your not 100% careful with what you dissasmble you end up breaking the wire's connection end... dont worry the next part is to help you
Tin/Tinting The TipMost likely if your 100% careful with your wiring you might not have to do this step cause the wire has already been tined/tinted
Slipping on the attachment that is neededLike on the side note, this attachment isnt needed alot of times on a few types of headphone... Other times its a must.. Like on this phillip noise cancelling headphone.
RESOLDINGOk this part is really quick.. its everything in the beginning but BACKWARDS!!
Here you can see the reason for the knot at the end of the attchment..
The attchment slips into a holder and the knot at the end of the cord keeps the ends of the wire from being pulled off the trace and ripping the trace off... it happens >.< and sucks when it does
FINISHED!so now everything is put together you can test out if you connected the wring right
If all is well you should be able to enjoy listenign to your favorite music with your refurbished headphones
**NOTE**
I NORMALLY CHECK EACH SPEAKERS ARE WORKING AFTER I RESOLDER THE CONNECTION... THIS HELPS TO KNOW IF IT WAS THE WIRING ISSUE OR SPEAKER ISSUE..
