soldering on 5v and ground

i'm kinda having trouble soldering my wires to both of the ground and the 5v on the mobo..any

suggestions to make it easier to solder my wires on this points..thanks guys..

Clean the contacts with rubbing alcohol. Make sure there's flux on the contacts and then tin the contacts before you solder.
If the contacts aren't clean the solder won't adhere to it.

umm this aint a mod he's using that picture to show us what points he is soldering to... or trying to solder to as the case may be.....

and in responce my advice would be the same as above... clean the contacts off ( maybe carefully scrape at them a little)
apply flux the contacts
tin them with a fresh bit of solder
more flux
and then add in your wire it should stick straight away....

well i guess it could e used for any mod that needs a 5v contact and a ground contact...........

why do we keep going on about mods?

atomic is just having trouble soldering the the 5v supply points. they are small and close togerther, use a small tip iron and a bit of flux to help. these are exposed pads,l there is nothing to scrape, if you having that much trouble clean them with alcohol. these are the easiest points to solder to inside the psp 1000? I have never seen anyone have a problem here
