Welcome the Buy-Sell-Trade area of Acidmods.

We have made some changes to the BST area to help our members see who they are buying from.  We have created special member groups to help.

1.  The first  group is one who has read and agreed to follow the rules you are reading. This will help as everyone will know what is expected out of them. This group is called RegularBST.

2.  The second group is a registered trader group.  These are members who have submitted additional  contact information, in case there is a cease in contact.   We assume no additional liability,  only state that we have contact info on file, which may be provided at Acidmods discretion. This group is called Registered BST. The information required can be found Here

3.  A third group, BST banned. This is a member who can access the forum, but can no longer access the BST section of the forum due to violation of the rules. This group is called BST BAN.

There is a new Feedback system in place. This can be viewed by clicking on a members name and viewing their profile.  The feedback system is moderated against fraud/false reporting by admin.   Please make sure to use the feedback system.


Acidmods BST rules:

1.  This is the only area of the forum you can discuss sales and trades unless express permission is given by the admin staff.

2.  Acidmods is not responsible for transactions that take place on or off the forum.  Forum disciplinary action will only be taken if the transaction took place in the BST area.

3.  A photo must be posted within 1 day of your item with your forum name written on a index card (Proof of ownership).

4.  All items listed must have Working condition listed. Functional/Not Functional, scratched/not scratched, Warranty seal condition. Error codes, etc.

5.  You must have the item prior to listing the item. 3rd Party sales are prohibited if you have to purchase it yourself in order to resell this is a 3rd party sale, This included getting your belongings out of a pawn shop as whilst in the pawn shop it is not your property.

6.  Legal sales only. Illegal substances (physical and intellectual) will be removed.

7.  Do not flame other members threads.  (one mans junk is another mans treasure) any negative posts about an item being sold will be removed unless valid and may result in a BST warning.

8.  Please report any wrong doing through the member feedback system, which is monitored by admin.

9.  Upon sale completion, Prefix the title to [SOLD] instead of [WTB] or [WTS], failure to do so may result in a BST warning.

10.  Shipping method must be agreed upon at the time of sale, acidmods prefers a tracking number be listed in the closing of a thread.  Please discuss insurance on the package.

11. All topics should be properly Prefixed i.e. [WTB] if you want to buy an item, [WTS] if you want to sell an item, [WTT] if you want to trade an item or [SOLD] if the item has been sold and shipped.

12. Paypal is the recommended and preferred method of payment

Think about  the deal being offered if it sounds to good to be true it probably is.
