I find MAG to be slow. I am a COD junky and I found myself having a hard time operating my character in MAG.. the precision wasnt there. This is not entirely MAG's fault as I am a 360 player and the PS3 controller seems small and awkward to me now.
MAG has potential to be a fun game, however it was too cumbersome to get to the "fun" stuff, I think I am on level 6 but that was close to 5 hours of getting slaughtered in the first 3 gametypes. I will most likely pick it up again, however the hype kind of built me up to dissapointment on this one. Everything from the graphics to the initial story line was mediocre and didnt do enough to snag the hardcore FPS war sim crowd it needs.
I will say that if I was not an xbox owner/player, that MAG would probably have been a little more satisfying and filled a gap in the shooter genre. I will give this another try before I write it off completely, however first impressions are not as favorable as I expected.
