Ive been working on a PSP-1001 for a little while now, i had got it for free from a friend, all it needed was a new case and a new power switch (was dropped on it's power switch)
i can still get it to turn on with a toothpick, and have been doing that for the past couple weeks with CFW. The only other problem i notice is a very quiet and high pitched sound coming from it when it is turned on.
Now, the major problem is that whenever my PSP is turned on near my cell phone, it absolutely kills my signal. I have tested this with both my Verizon phone, and my friend's Iphone, of which it kills all the signal, even 3G.
Is this a common problem with poorly taken care of PSPs? and how do i fix this?
also, what is a good website, that ships from America, to buy a new case from? i tried Gaingame.com and got an absolute piece of junk (even TOUCHING the screen resulted in a deep scratch). i want something in America, since im sick and tired of ordering from hongkong and waiting weeks and weeks.
