Homebar Problem (hardware)
« on: March 21, 2010, 04:12:48 PM »
Lately my homebar has stopped working. So i took it out and replaced it. Same error. When i wiggle the homebar connected to the zif's, some of the buttons on the homebar works at a certain angle durring the wiggles. The zif connector is in good condition as i checked all the solder points and the copper pieces on the zif.

So does anyone know what the problem is here?

Thanks

I had the same problem on the 1000.
It could be that there's dust or dirt inside the zif connector, or you just have bad parts.
I ordered three different home bars before I got an OEM one that worked.
