Help [psp 1000] reassembly; i have an issue
« on: March 15, 2010, 04:29:09 AM »
i moved my psp to a new housing, all the parts work properly, but i cannot get the lcd housing to work, the screwhole at the lower right, nearest the charger; the one with the massive hole? i cannot get any screw to hold it down so it's like standing up and i have to put hella pressure on the faceplate to hold it down while i close the psp. that's ghetto, though, and it puts my lcd screen at risk. any ideas on keeping the brace flat  against the board?

EDIT: hold down the lcd brace from the screwhole, that is

assuming everything is in the right place it sounds like a faulty/ghetto case, had problems closing a clear case before, like closing a suitcase that's too full and u need to sit on it to get the zipper to budge lol

You could try sanding down the area that sticks up a little bit so that the brace sits flush.
