From that description and no pictures it is hard to give any kind of diagnosis, open it up again and take a few pictures.

As I said it's hard to diagnose from that description, so why give a possible solution that may not work and cause further damage in the long run?

Ok this problem is done. and i figured out on my self.

I dont know if you want to believe it or not.

But this is the solution:

TA-079 have wifi board right?

TA-082 have wifi board also right?

You cannot put ta-079 wifi board on ta-082 why?

It is just because of that two wifi board is not desame.

I'll bring back the original wifi board of ta-079 and viola  i heard the sounds.

:P, you would need to run the noobz mac address fixer and then it should work with a different wifi board.

Hi all. I have tried this fix and had no luck. I am working on a ta-082 board. I have a new wifi board, new speakers, and only have sound when headphones are plugged in. Now, i had no sound after bypassing on both sides, and removed the small black chip near both speaker wire sockets too. No change. I am no newbie to soldering or working on small electronics. I have fixed many psp's as well as built and repaired many ps2 units. I am confident in my soldering skills. I am out of almost all ideas. I need help here. Considering sound is at the wifi board headset jack, i have tried to run wires from the socket to the motherboard speaker bypass points. No difference. Can someone take a good look at the wifi soocket and give me a pinout for getting sound from headphone socket to the mobo? The wifi board is correct for this mobo, its an ms-329. Any help is greatly appreciated.
