I suppose being affiliated with the military has a few perks, one of which is if it is required of me to do something, like move if I am under a contract for something say a lease or a cell phone service contract I have to be let out of the contract without fees.
This is especially nice when you move frequently and often certain cell service providers lack quality in certain areas. This means I never have to pay an early termination fee. Now you might ask "TwisT what does all this mean?" This means Uncle Sam wants You!
Why is any of this relevant? Because I said so and I am sleep deprived and needed something to occupy my lack of life. I still can’t find a site that sells those weird things… Lives… Odd huh?
Last year around November as so many people know too well Verizon increased there fee for early termination from 175$USD to 350$USD. Now AT&T follows closely behind and immediately sites Verizon’s actions back in November as justification for their new early termination which is now becoming 325$USD when it had been 175$USD. Now this increased rate isn’t in general for all the plans they offer. The new early termination fee will be specifically for smart-phones. Indecently this decision comes quite close to the end of the exclusive deal between Apple and there precious iPhone. AT&T says however that this was not a factor in deciding this new fee.
Sorry if it sounded like a conspiracy theory
