Touch Screen Product Information

I am curious about a product I just found on Sparkfun

Does anybody have any useful information about this? Or how reliable it is.

it says it's a 4 wire screen, you could wire the touch screen directly to the analog connections. Some modder in the phillipines who frequents this site did something along those lines, i think he said it wasnt particularly efficient, and you wouldnt be able to use it as a cursor i dont think. there's an attatchment that goes into the usb port, but it would require your own custom firmware.

Nope. Doesn't work.

Yes, the guy did it, but the only reason it worked is because it causes a difference in the resistance value. That triggers the analog stick. It doesn't -- and never will -- function properly by wiring it to the analog stick.

it works, theres a video in that thread. it appears to be moving with the gestures he makes on the touch screen
