Case change now d pad won't work
« on: May 08, 2010, 03:41:33 PM »
Hows everyone doing today?  I picked up a chrome pink case for my girlfriends psp.  Tore everyting out of the old one (everything worked fine before disassembly).  After putting it all back together in the new case, i can't get the d-pad to work.  I'm thinking the new case might be bigger than the old one, or the silicone buttons are worn out.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

thry the buttons using the rubber contacts with the faceplate off, make sure they work. if not check the ribbon cable for the dpad board (underneath) check to make sure the lcd cage is not penching that cable.
