Anyone Think The PSP Modding Thing Needs A Boost?

I think that AcidMods could use a boost to put it back top the top of the modder sites! Im willing to do some work to provide information and parts to anyone who is willing to help with this cause and am also willing to join a modding team to get it done!

50 leds can be added..  it would break the record.  You could cheat on it and put them all on 2 wires and wrap it around the inside of the PSP

Go make an internal analog stick for the psp go that matches the original. That would be helpful and useful as apposed to more leds.. XD

lol thanks for the ideas guys. And i was thinking of adding led's to my psp go and maybe an extra internal speaker (if i can find the space. Oh BTW does anyone know what the two gold squares under the backing on the right side are for? They dont seem to give off any power and the psp runs without it attached... Any ideas???

need to get back into firmware modifications for homebrew, thats where all the intrest was.

i agree.  sorry to say that pretty much every idea has been done to the outside of a psp for close to 10 yrs now.  at this point only thing about a psp that keeps my interest is the firmware

I wasn't aware the PSP has been out for ten years.

A lot of mods have already been created for the psp serise, however i'd like to see some more intricate case mods. Not just swapping the case with different colours, proper custom designs. Some more work with EL wire would be great but fitting that into a psp is very hard. Maybe some fiber optic lighting in the case of a PSP would be nice.

mmm i was a few years off,  it will be 6 years next month in japan and march for U.S.  but still getting kinda old for portable console wise.  i am sure more things can be done to it.  just have to put those brains in gear.

well im looking into adding a go cam to my psp go. it might be impossible... but damn it im gunna try.
And i didnt realize they had been out for that long either. i thought maybe 4 years max. lol!

Everything hasn't been done to the outside, I haven't seen Loco with a wolf themed psp with a wolf paw shaped jewel.*wink* *wink*. Alot can still be done with the right inspiration and time. Oh, and good luck with the go cam twisted, but that sounds too catchy not to be copy-right yet.

i think the am store could should have psp parts and stuff it would be so much easier than going on ebay and dealextreme and such just to get led and parts that will take month and a half to get here.

well i do agree that there should be more stuff for sale on the AM Store cuz most of the pages are empty. but you cant say that they would ship it to you faster then DealExtreme or EBay would. and plus i just picked up 50 R G B W Y 1205 LED's and 50 Ice Blue 0603 LED's off ebay for under 15 bucks!

So unless they offer better prices then that im gunna keep shopping on ebay and dealextreme and chinagrabber for my stuff.
