ok i finaly got my jtag xbox up and running but the how do i add and external harddrive and some one help me please.or i f you have a tutorial.

You need to make sure your hard drive is formatted to fat32.  Once you have it formatted to fat32, your xbox will be able to read it.

the hard drive im using is and old hard drive with 80gb but its from my old pc what parts do i need to be able to connecte to the xbox the hard drive is not sata.

Dont bother, its not worth it.  Just buy a cheap 2.5" sata hard drive on ebay for like $35

You'll need to buy an enclosure to make it so you can plug it in through the USB.

After you plug it in, go to system settings. Then go to Memory, select the "unformatted drive" and select format in the dash.

I think that's what you're looking for. If you're looking to make your drive internal (through the sata connector) let me know.
