cr3100 (wtk about extending the wires)

hello all

i was wondering if anyone knows about extending the cr3100 wire so you can still use MSProDuo while the cr3100 sits in the UMD slot?

can it be done?

i dont believe you can. i know you can was a switch to switch between them and all but  i dont believe you can have both running at the same time

I think he just means connecting the cr3100 directly to the pins and adding a switch like you said so that he doesn't have to unplug the cr3100 if he wants to plug in a normal pro duo. And yes, you can do that. In fact, pretty sure there's a tut for it.

i didn't find a direct tut but i noticed you can simply use a IDE cable and it seems to work for alot of ppl, so ill try that.
the switch might be too much for me.....lol (but will complete the mod much better).
