Jtagged 360
« on: May 14, 2010, 04:26:38 PM »
I just fixed a 360 and i discovered that is is 2.0.7371.0 dash which is Jtaggable.  What are the Benefits of Jtagging? what are the risks of jtagging?  is it worth more in value if the 360 is jtagabble?

thnks

a jtagable 360 is worth a bit more than a normal one and the benefits umm did you have a modded xbox 1? emulators, game off the hdd, homebrew, completely unconfined by limitations

7371, is the only kernal that MAY be exploitable. as in this is the only one that you wont know if it is going to work until after you jtag it. some 7371 are jtagable, some are not.

you can verify that the dump is jtaggable before you jtag it. just have to solder the wires to dump the nand.

Well if you change your mind. I feel the benefits weren't sufficiently explained.

Pros:
Get rid of discs
FTP games to drive
Bigger HDD
Faster Loading times if you install a 7200rpm drive opposed to USB/5400rpm drives
Emulators
Customizable Dash
Make Backups of  your original games
Ability to install trainers for your games
Xbox Live games independent of Live
DLC's independent of Live

Cons:
No online, insta-ban
Newer Kernels = flashing nand
