My first mod, psp 1000 with 8 leds finished

Ok guys I am going to start my first mod in my psp. These are the new tools i have bouhgt:

Muy bien rafa you got the smaller dremel just keep ur speed at setting minimum by the time u get  the Psp I will have ur tut .

ok, altough I dont have my new psp yet i had an umd door wich i have used to start my mod. The circle isnt very good, i have to parctise lol

normally i wouldn't say start your modding experience with a new psp, get a used one just incase something happens. good luck to you and dont forget to do your research before you start.

ok rafa muy bien did u dud it the same way like in my video cuz if u did please be careful but no matter how u did it u did good practice makes perfect :hifive:

@Whitey when i say "new psp" i mean its a psp whic i have bought but its used lol.

@Thejld The dremel was 30€ and the accesories were 10€. Between 30-35$

@lobo yes i did it like your video cuz i dont have the correct tool yet, i will pratice with more mods

Ok guys I need some help. My new psp (i got a used psp) has come today and i have a small "problem". The person who sold me didnt say me that the power led and the charge led dont work.

When I turn on the psp the green led doesnt do nothing and if i put the charger it happens the same

I couldn open it because i am working yet but if someone know what can happen would be great.

Also I have seen that a way to replace it its put 0603 smd led with a resistor and I would like if its the same way for both leds?.

i think you should change the whole power board.. or see if the flex that connect the mobo and pobo are in the right position..

@arjohn it would be an option but the powerboard works fine just the leds dont turn on

@thejid i want to put 4 leds in the umd door, 2 in the triggers and another 2 in the holes near the usb connector

EDIT: OK guys, this is my first video, i have to put another led in the trigger and one more in another hole but i need a right speaker becuase what i have is broken

ok rafa this is a preview on how to take out the metal frame on the back of the umd door so try it out so your leds has more space this only good when you got cfw try it out. sorry guys the vid is on spanish cuz rafa is from spain lol  :tup:  we talk earlier about this so i promise him a video. rafa was having problems when closing his umd. taking apart metal frame on back of umd door.

Thanks again lobo for the vid :clap:. When i do it i will try with a umd. I would like to play with umd yet if i remove the metal frame. At the moment i have to stop my mod because my right speaker is broken :wacko:. and i have to repair a usb connector from my cousin´s psp

Ok guys this its my update:

Psp 8 leds

I am having troubles yet because if i do like i would open the umd door the right speaker doesnt work. I have problems with the lcd frame. I have put insulating tape but i have problems yet. Any idea?

hey toonandrew u got me LOL actuAlly cholos is for mexicans and I'm puertorican and that was the tv on the background so yes the jewerly that's not even half of it I have like 3 or 4 pounds of gold I love jewerly is very nice.
