So if you are have a Chinese model iPhone and are dissatisfied with the fact that wi-fi is disabled things will be looking up for you in this upcoming week. China Unicorn will begin selling the wi-fi enabled iPhone this week.
Up till now Chinese regulations have not allowed wi-fi devices that haven’t used Wired Authentication and Privacy Infrastructure which is the countries wireless standard.
In July the Apple phone was granted wi-fi capability in the country. The China Unicorn officials have addressed the desire to sell the iPad as well, however Apple doesn’t currently offer the iPad in China. Apple hasn’t replied to the request at this time.
