standard res/high res at the same time?

so i recently picked up and iGrabber for cheap and it works well for it's purpose. my only problem is i can't get it to play on my tv in high res while the video capture records in standard resolution. is there anything i can do to make it so my cable will use the high res output, optic audio output and standard res output at the same time?
Post Merge: August 07, 2010, 10:41:52 PMactually if i could use the optic out and hdmi while the standard res was feeding it would work too. i have just never heard of both outputs in the back working at the same time though.
