chrome will be the same, it piggybacks off IE anyway.
Probably a problem with your network or something? how long has it been happening?

try to clear your browser cahce and see if the issue persists. this seems to be very isolated and likely on your end.

Chrome piggybacks on the system internet settings. In the case of Windows, majority of the internet settings are accessed through IE.
