Trying to make a regular laser pointer, into a BURNING one...... HELP

Hey Acidmods, im back with another question. Does anybody know how to make a cheap $10 laser pointer into a high-powered $500 one? ive been searching around on the internet and i cant seem to find anything.... Keep in mind that i've found High powerd laser pointers for around $70 USD but i want to get one cheaper. So if you can help me out i'd appreciate it very much.

The 360 drives use red lasers.
The 360 drives can't be turned into burning lasers.

Google around for a diode driver circuit. You'll need one to drive the laser. You'll also need a heatsink.

If you want a burning blue laser, you'll need a bluray burner and will need to extract the laser diode, put it in a heatsink, and drive it with the laser circuit. It's more work and money than it's worth.

Check out dinodirect.com. I got my 125mW green laser for $30 and yes, it does burn.

It's impossible to convert a $10 one into a burning one... But there are cheap burning ones, like using a Blu-Ray laser diode. Kicks had some good links too.
