Acidmod Xbox 360?

I just got to thinking, if anyone had an xbox laying around that they felt like modding but haven't gotten around to it, why not make an AM themed one to kinda give back to AM and say thank you for helping me throughout the years, teaching me this and that, and giving me a place to show off my creativity. Another thing I think would be kool about a AM xbox is if certain parts of the xbox were sent around to multiple modders on the site to make the xbox more of a team project and to boost the uniqueness of it. Idk this was just something rattling around in my head a little last night and this morning so I figured I'd post it up and see what you guys though.

that would be sweet like cut a window and engrave the acidmods logo and have fading blue leds. and it could be shipped to different members to mod a different part of it , it would be awesome.

Yea I think cutting out Acidmods into one side of the case and then flipping it over and cutting out "AM" or something or even painting into the case like "Thank you AM staff" or whatever. Also if we cut "Acidmods" into the one side of the case we can have someone on the site that is good at airbrushing do the lighting like in the logo. Idk I just know that I want to say thanks somehow to Acidmods for helping me so far because I would have never touched my Xbox if I didn't get a couple pointers here and there from different members/staff.

That is a pretty good idea monkey. I wouldn't mind taking part in that.  Acidmods is a great site and i think we should get a few people around to customize a case.

I think this should be some sort of mod off.  There should be something like this

****DVD DRIVE***
****FAN SHROUD***
****CASE****
****RF BOARD****

Those should be the categories that people can enter to mod.  The winner of each category will send their custom part to the site owner and then put together by the site owner.  Then it should be auctioned off, remember this would be an acidmods tribute case so there probably wont be prizes (donation). Remember guys, acidmods has helped alot of people and im sure helped fleabayers make money.  I think this would be awesome, and i know there is alot of skilled people on this site.

We need to find someone who would want to donate an older version dashboard though so that way the xbox can get jtagged and they'll get more out of it once they sell it.

This sounds like a really good idea, maybe a matching controller too? id be keen to get involved in a mod off of some sorts.

Sounds like a great idea, a possible logistics nightmare, but it could be a very cool project. The same idea was tossed around back in the day, though with a PSP not a 360, and due to the logistics it never progressed beyond an idea. I haven't fully read through the thread, I'm on my iPhone @ work, but I'll read it all over when I get home tonight... I did an AcidMods PS2 a few years back...

I really like the AcidMods window idea, would be easiest if we could get it cut with a laser or cnc router and have the plexi cut at the same time so that it all easily matches and fits together with minimal sanding and test fitting...

I was thinking for all the people that helped, they would put cut their names out on the metal side of the case (kind of like the F@G XBOX) and then on the other a big window.
